A new Roger Waters site for his tours (from NPF, un official)

Still under construction but here is a new Roger Waters website with potential to go somewhere good in the future as the tour gets under way! Check it out and link to it if you want to encourage its development. If you haev any ideas about it, then please do get in touch.

I just threw it together in 20 mins but will probably end up putting something a bit more technilogically enjoyable on there as soon as I know when the tour will commence when announced on Monday.

I will probably end up adding a blog to it similar to this one but focused completely on following the tour and keeping it for historical reference into the future. I can only go on so much on a Pink Floyd website about poor old Rog but, saying that, I did go on quite a bit about David Gilmour back in 2006 on his On An Island Tour and subsequent release of the David Gilmour Live in Gdansk DVD.

What to do with my backup domain

I am debating what to do if anything with my neptunepinkfloyd.info domain as it is just sat there doing nothing.  May set up a blog/wiki for Roger Waters 2010 tour or something.  Or just use it to store backups of the main NPF site as I currently do. Mmm what to do??

Not long to go now until next Monday when all the tour dates are announced for the tour so looking forward to that day very much indeed!  I had best decide what to do with that domain then!!

Thinking about it, people can post their content including photos and videos from their experiences from Rogers concerts on the NPF Forum or on the social media websites I set up for NPF.  Join those, they are fun.

Roger Waters The Wall Tour 2010 Announcement

I am happy to have just received an email from Roger Waters manager concerning the news last year that Roger Waters was considering touring his rock opera The Wall in 2010/2011.  Well, his manager said there will be an announcement on Monday 12th April 2010 on Roger’s new website whi, from memory, is also to feature information about Pink Floyd on it too!

Roger Waters 2010 Tour Tickets Announcement Page

When the Roger Waters 2010 Tour Concert Tickets does get announced, they will appear on the upcoming concerts page that I just finished adding to the concert database.

Roger Waters Tour 2010 – Concert Dates from 1984 onwards

I have been busy working on the Pink Floyd Concert Dates database over the past couple of days.  You can now browse by country, see who played at a particular venue, search by city and more.  Also added a few more concerts/gigs/performances particularly to the Roger Waters Concert Dates section.  I hope to get that section boxed off pretty soon so that I can, hopefully, start adding Roger Waters Tour Dates 2010 and 2011 to them!

I shall update people via the NPF Newsletter as and when I get further details about Roger Water’s 2010 tour so make sure you are subscribed to that.

Roger Waters Tour 2010 – The Wall

Further to my last news story on Roger Waters Tour 2010, of The Wall of course, I am just awaiting any further news from Roger Waters manager after just emailing him.  Hopefully he will get back to me with some good news about a nice world tour of The Wall calling at all continents!  Who knows.

I never did get the chance to watch Pink Floyd live but have seen Roger and David Gilmour on solo tours.  Both being rather excellent of course!  Although not my favourite Pink Floyd album, The Wall is still an excellent piece and wish I had seen the original tour of the wall back in the 1980s.  A tour of The Wall in 2010 or 2010 is something many fans are eager to see: especialyl those like me who are too young to have been concert-goers in the early 1980′s. I minus 1 years old on the opening night of that tour!! haha.

Anyway, if I hear back from Roger Water’s manager about The Wall Tour 2010 or 2011 then I shall be posting news on the website in the news section, will definitely be broadcasting it in the NPF Newsletter and on social networks.
