Here is an amazing concert video a fan has put together of Roger Waters The Wall live outdoors in San Francisco on May 11th 2012. Watch this multi camera concert footage. Its great!
Part 1
Part 2
EMI have been kind to me tonight and let me listen to discs 3-6 from The Wall Immersion Boxset. The demos sound 1,000,000 times better than The Wall Under Construction bootleg that has been doing the rounds for many years. If you were holding out from getting the boxset because you already have that bootleg, then you really need to upgrade!
Listening to disc 5… Run Like Hell and Another Brick in the Wall Part 1 sound much better in demo form in terms of their arrangement compared to the finished arrangement on the final master album. You may disagree or agree. You will have to wait and see after you get the Immersion Boxset!
As I write, I have just started on the band demos from disc 5 (the first of the two demos discs)… just been listening to the Roger Waters home and studio demos. The band demos are the studio production demos that the band recorded to give them a starting point in the studio in terms of achieving the right sound they were after I would imagine.
Teacher Teacher, which later appeared on the final cut as The Heroes Return, sounds rather good in demo form. HAs a different feel to it in terms of the rhythms from the drums and rhythm guitar. Much more laid back.
Bedtime now so I shall say more about disc 6 tomorrow which is part two of the demos. Check out more on Pink Floyd The Wall Demos.
On the Official Pink Floyd Facebook page, there is a special offer on for Facebook fans only. If you purchase a copy of Dark Side of the Moon or Wish You Were Here Immersion box sets, then you will be given a vinyl as a bonus. More details here.
I should imagine this will upset one or two people who have paid all that money for the boxset already and could have had a vinyl too. I should imagine the people shelling out nearly £90 for these are life-long fans who are probably also audio enthusiasts and would very much be interested in the Vinly included with the Immersion boxset. But hey, that is the way it is!
The Wall is next up for the Immersion treatment which is out on the 27th February 2012 so take a look at the list below and take your pick!

The new “Why Pink Floyd” mammoth collection of new re-mastered albums, new boxsets and digital releases shall be promoted with a new official Pink Floyd website.
The site is due to go live very soon as per the image to the right which currently occupies the home page of the site.
I have been guessing at various URLs to try and reveal a sneak peak at the new site but it appears it is not loaded to the server just yet!
The entire back catalogue of Pink Floyd has been remastered and will be released under the title of “Why Pink Floyd…” and features three groups of releases and even a new best of called A Foot In The Door. The collection will feature rare songs, unreleased songs and unheard pieces, including a song from Household Objects.
Discover - This group features all of the studio albums remastered by James Guthrie. The albums will be available separately or as part of a new box set. Lots of new artwork by long term Pink Floyd artwork designer Storm Thorgerson.
Experience - Takes the Discover album and adds another CD of joy and some other goodies to allow you to experience the album at a greater depth.
Immersion - Three of the albums in Why Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall) will be presented each in its own big box set with lots of DVDs, CDs and other fun memorabilia. These look absolutely brilliant and I cannot wait to get my hands on them!
The release dates are in three phases on 26th September 2011, 7th November 2011 and 27th February 2012.
