I am happy to have just received an email from Roger Waters manager concerning the news last year that Roger Waters was considering touring his rock opera The Wall in 2010/2011.  Well, his manager said there will be an announcement on Monday 12th April 2010 on Roger’s new website whi, from memory, is also to feature information about Pink Floyd on it too!

When the Roger Waters 2010 Tour Concert Tickets does get announced, they will appear on the upcoming concerts page that I just finished adding to the concert database.

The “next three” concerts will also appear on the concert database home page.

And I am working on adding ticket info to the concert pages and allowing people to leave comments etc. on concert pages. Just thought I would share that with you.

I have been busy working on the Pink Floyd Concert Dates database over the past couple of days.  You can now browse by country, see who played at a particular venue, search by city and more.  Also added a few more concerts/gigs/performances particularly to the Roger Waters Concert Dates section.  I hope to get that section boxed off pretty soon so that I can, hopefully, start adding Roger Waters Tour Dates 2010 and 2011 to them!

I shall update people via the NPF Newsletter as and when I get further details about Roger Water’s 2010 tour so make sure you are subscribed to that.

There are certainly a LOT of Pink Floyd youtube videos out there which span from the very early years from the Undergound scene right up until present day.Of course, they are copyright infringements on the most part but it would be nice to have much more video content of the variety and quantity on youtube on the official Pink FLoyd website.

Some good video I would definitely like to see on youtube or bettwe still the official Pink Floyd site, is The Wall live to co-incide with the 30th anniversary of The Wall.

So… perhaps all the youtube Pink Floyd videos would be best placed on the official Pink Floyd website with lots more from the archives of Nick Mason, the official collector of all things Floyd in the band!  Check his book out Inside Out.  An excellent read (and listen if you have the audio book like me!!)
