As mummyfied as he looked, Freddie at least wore it with grace and style...

I once read an interview, back in 2000 or so, where they said that early Floyd (More, Ummagumma et al) was a bigger influence for them than the post DSOTM material, and that they were listening all the time to that while recording either OK Computer or Kid A, don't remember which exactly.
I read an article about how Thom Yorke made the band watch Pompeii (no audience, dust, volcanoes, bare feet, wailing dog, warts and all) and after the film was finished he said something like: "That's how we should be making videos". I think he's the Floyd fan and the others kinda follow suit.

For a second I also thought she looked like Britney Spears. But... Do you really think Brit knows who Pink Floyd are?

These days I'm sure she doesn't know what her own name is most of the time.

V, that's some story haha I imagine Thom had to tie them down to chairs or something...

Pixie Lott... I'd listen to Dark Side... with you any time, baby.

Nick and Roger, at times she collaborated with them: - So, your name is...?
Lott: Pixie.
N./R.:... Pixie?
L.: Pixie.
N./R.:... Oh no, not psychedelic days again... pixies and echoes, and Syd, OOOOHHHHHH..............

Back on topic, I know Marc Almond is/was a fan of Syd.

I sometimes have my doubts about how much the likes of Orlando Bloom like Pink Floyd. For all I know, he is a fan but perhaps he just went because he got some free tickets and the promise of free food 'n drink. I'm thinking of the numbers of people who were at The Wall show I went to who chattered throughout the whole thing or were far more interested in getting to and from the bar </rant>

Some of you might find it interesting that during a 1980 Relix magazine interview Jerry Garcia mentioned The Wall when he was asked what new music he liked. He added, "but everyone likes that".

John Lydon aka Johnny Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrotten, when asked about his infamous T-shirt some years ago: "How can you hate them!? They're like furry bunnies". It's still not forgotten John was in "I'm a celebrity, get me outta here!" (or whatever the title was). Dammit Johnny, you Hawkwind-head.
