Roger Waters and David Gilmour are working on a reunion album.
It will be titled 'The Bright Side of the Sun'.

The cover will be an overexposed photo of Gilmour's head, with a bullit going through.
(Typical Waters humour, so this is certainly no hoax!)
They will use previously recorded drums by Nick Mason, as no one will hear the difference.

Will there be a vinyl version, for those who love the sound of pops, crackles and inner groove distortion? \:D/

BTW. It's rumoured that there's an early version of 'The Great Gig in the Sky' with vocals by no one less than... Yoko Ono.
The lyrics, written by her, are: "John! John? John!!! Jooooooooooohn! Jooooooooooooooooooooohn!!!!!"

my breakfast. wrote:Syd is responsible for the overdubbing of Bagpipes onto AC/DC's Its a Long Way to the Top (If you wanna Rock N' Roll). For a brief period in the early '70s he and Bon Scott went to the same vegan bakery in London, and Syd had to lend Angus Young a guitar when AC/DC played at the Roundhouse in London in 1973. It seems that Syd was in the studio when AC/DC were recording their powerful new single, and had the idea of the bagpipes when AC/DC could not decide how to finish off their composition. Syd had learned the bagpipes whilst staying in a military barracks on the Isle of Skye whilst still in school.
And thus Syd was responsible for the invention of stadium hard-rock.
And he later lent those very bagpipes to Korn so they could play them during one of their songs to justify their cover of ABrickITW part 2.

* Syd actually wrote Kevin Ayers first 5 solo albums. He let Kevin record them because he "really just couldn't be bothered".

PC got one of his reasons for retirement from DG, the reason being spending more time with family. And Mel Collins is Phil's secret brother.

Roger Waters and David Gilmour are recording Syd Barrett's 'Terrapin' ("I really love you") as a ghost barbershop trio.

The result will sound as if they are finally having a good time, loving each other and suggesting the listeners to also love each other.
Nick Mason plays the tambourine. Rick Wright is present in the form of some random 1960s organ snippets, which happen to always fit in whatever 1960s Floydish composition.
The single will be available in time for Xmas.

I think Roger Waters on Coronation Street would be funny, old man in the corner as an extra reading the Evening Standard. 8)
