I myself have both originals and repressings of different albums, and I have to say the quality of the remastered repressings is great. They come really well done, and play nice and smooth. Where I am they're $30 CAD a pop though, which isn't crazy but isn't cheap. But yeah, if the originals are out of your range, the remastered repressings are tremendous.

I am two records away from having all of the studio albums in the repress line. I don't usually play my vinyls, but I did spin the Dark Side one and I have to say if all of them are as good a pressing as that one then colour me impressed. Records these days range considerably in quality, and these ones do seem to be very high quality indeed.
