Pink Floyd and Stanley Kubrick ... now there's a combination

Brings a whole new meaning to the Dr. Floyd character, the cover story, secrecy and "when can the story be told" storyline; my only concern is the use of so much 1970s material in a film put together in 1966 / 1967 and released in 1968.

A bit more on the Kubrick / Pink Floyd connection (qv the Pink Floyd Encyclopedia by Vernon Fitch) -

• Stanley wanted to use Pink Floyd material in 'A Clockwork Orange' but was denied.
• Roger wanted to use HAL dialogue from '2001' on the Amused to Death album but was denied so Roger included a backwards message at the start of Perfect Sense, Part 1.
• Roger played the movie '2001' on the TV set during the In The Flesh tour.
