No kidding! It's a classic album by default. Along with WYWH and The Wall. I got the DSoTM SACD, but unfortunately as yet, no SACD player to play it on. It does sound excellent in regular CD mode however. But it's tough to say whether in CD mode if it sounds better than the Mobile Fidelity Ultradisc version that I already had. Until I can afford an SACD player, I may just have to take it over to a local Hi-Fi store and listen to it on one of theirs.
As for video on SACD, I don't think it's made for that. I do know that some DVD-Audio discs have short video clip interviews. Most SACDs don't offer hybrid(SACD/CD) playback so it's very cool of them to make DSoTM as a hybrid.

Speaking of documentaries, it's a shame that the often excellent Classic Albums series never covered a Floyd LP - Dark Side being the obvious candidate in terms of both success and musical variety.
