Nice list over there, Massed Gadgets, bigs thumbs up on Acid Mothers, Steve Wilson and Monster Magnet! Gotta listen to some of the other bands you mentioned though?

Anyone else like Black Moth Super Rainbow? I just listened to their album "Dandelion Gum" yesterday and it's pretty good. Very tripped out vocals and extremely psychedelic on the whole. However, the songs are a bit samey imo, so it could get boring after awhile.

Also, another great band is Flotation Toy Warning. Bluffer's Guide is an excellent album imo, a must-listen.

I like Black Moth Super Rainbow. I have a few of their albums, but I agree with you they do get a bit samey at times. Start a People has a little bit more variety than Dandelion Gum, IMO. I will have to listen to Bluffer's Guide.

Here's a couple I've been enjoying lately...

Really digging the Herbcraft, MG!

Anyone ever listened or heard about this album? I'm thinking someone like Wolfpack might know.

I thought it looked familiar so I did a search on my hard drive, and what d'ya know, there it was. I'm sure it's been quite a long time since I downloaded it. I think I listened to it once back then. I'll have to listen to it again. Glad you like the Herbcraft, RAD!

Actually the entire Dutch + Scandinavian psychedelic/prog music scene during the late 60s and the 70s is very intriguing to me. Not exactly very famous, I'd say, and even some the obscure Krautrock stuff I think is easier to find. I only know of a band called Flasket Brinner (who has an album of the same name), and I quite like it. The music is hard to find though, and I don't know where to start.

PS. I've previously mentioned Oresund Space Collective and how I love those guys. Well I listened to their latest album they released last October, and I like it very much. Massed Gadgets, you might like this, the album consists of instrumental jamming, although it's slightly on the mellow side.

I do like OSC. I have a few of their albums.

Here's a crazy psychedelic obscurity from 1972...

Not a fan of the vocals. They ruin an otherwise good piece of music, imo.

Surprisingly, I haven't listened to The Olivia Tremor Control yet! I've heard that they are one of the best psych bands of the 90s. Will give them a chance tomorrow.

You guys know this site?

Scott’s Music Reviews

He says:
"I am a research scientist doing Diabetes research and I do music journalism on the side and have been writing about music for 28 years now. I also lead an all improvised psychedelic space rock band called the Øresund Space Collective. I also am an avid collector of music."

Love the Radar Men From the Moon and I've been digging that Yuri Gagarin lately too.

Check out Juke. They are awesome! Sorry, can't find any videos for them, but give a listen to the track Neptuna here: http://jukeband.bandcamp.com/track/neptuna
It's too bad they only have one other song from the album up here, because the whole album is great!

MG you're suggestions are (almost always) gold, gotta check out Radar Men. Uncle Harry's list looks promising too, plenty of interesting music out there \:D/

MG, what did you think of Bluffer's Deck?
