Your favourite songs from Piper at the Gates of Dawn

I went with "Flaming" this time, but another year I will choose another song from the album - given enough time, all are my favorites. I had thought there wouldn't be enough votes for Flaming, but that seems to be one of the main picks among those who have posted comments here. I do find occassions to think of the line "yippee you can't see me but I can you". At other times, I quote from Chapter 24: "A movement is accomplished in six stages, and the seventh brings return" - which, of course, comes from 'chapter 24' of the I Ching.

For me, number one is Scarecrow. I have beautiful memories on this one.
But without these memories it would be Astronomi Domine.

Although Astronomy Domine and Interstellar Overdrive are by far the best songs off Piper, my favorite is Lucifer Sam. Maybe it's because I am a Leo....who knows. Either way Sam and Ginger sound like some cool cats.

It's very difficult the choice but I think my favourite song is Chapter 24 followed by Interstellar overdrive!

For me both Astronomy Domine and Interstellar Overdrive are top, plus they have cool names I voted for Intestellar because it's not doing as well

I went with flaming as well. It's the only song that trully sets me on fire. Hell yeah, litterally. Next may be Bike. Very poetic songs, indeed, and that's what I dig the most.

The poll would have been easier to answer if it had been on the negative way instead: "Which song do you like the least from PATGOD?" I would have answered Interstellar Overdrive because I usually skip the track.

Though choice! That album has so many good songs! But for me it would have to be between Astronomy, Lucifer, Matilda, Interstellar or The Gnome... I'm going with The Gnome just because is such a jolly feel good song, I always smile, sing along and bob my head around like a little kid when I listen to it! ALWAYS!

The mono version is especially amazing!
