Pink Floyd's The Wall album is next up to receive the Immersion Boxset treatment and I am sure it will be warmly received by fans all over the world. Like Darkside of the Moon and Wish You Were Here Immersion editions, The Wall album with also feature a trove of audio, video and collectable merchandise items and will span 7 albums!

Pink Floyd The Wall Immersion is, of course, part of the Why Pink Floyd release schedule which has all the Pink Floyd studio albums re-mastered and re-released in three phases. So far, Dark Side, Wish You Were Here and now The Wall have been announced but there have been hints from Nick Mason that other boxsets may be considered although their manager told me it was not true. We will have to wait and see what happens!

Roger Waters Married - Listen to Interview

Roger Waters confirmed today that he married long-term girlfriend of ten years Laurie Durning. This took place on Saturday 14th January 2012. He announced this news on the Howard STern radio show this morning in an hour long very candid and frank interview. The interview is a must listen one due to the very candid way he discusses a range of topics!

Warning: the interview features lots of swearing and is definitely 18+ due to adult themes.

70 Dates have now been announced for Roger Waters Tour 2012 tour with hints there will be more in August and possible Roger Waters Europe 2013! The tour is set to kick off next Friday.

Upcoming Pink Floyd Events and Rumours

The Pink Floyd rumour mill is always smouldering over with various people speculating at things based on little or no fact. There are currently no plans for any Pink Floyd tour or Pink Floyd album and I cannot imagine there ever will be again. However, Roger Waters is currently on Tour with The Wall where he was joined by David Gilmour last year. Nick Mason is often saying he would like the band to get back together to do a one off charity event. And David Gilmour is said to be looking at material he has is home demo recording form. So there are no Pink Floyd tours coming up and there is no new information about any solo albums or tours either. Pink Floyd fans the world over can live in hope though!

Neptune Pink Floyd in 2012

I have lots of plans for Neptune Pink Floyd in 2012 which include expanding the Pink Floyd Concert database with more content and fun ways of interacting with it. I aim to start on that by the Summer.

I shall also be looking at expanding the resources available like Pink Floyd interview transcripts, Pink Floyd tablature and greater amount of original content surrounding Pink Floyd albums, Pink Floyd members and the history of the band.

Great Social Networking integration is also on the cards! ;-)
