Syd Barrett Auction Fetches £119,890 (USD$233,786)

The auction of Roger Keith (Syd) Barrett's final belongings generated a staggering £119,890 (USD$233,786) at auction this week.

This included such items as his bikes, tools, painting equipment and the most expensive item; his final painting from January 2006 which went for £9,500 (USD $18,525)!
