Pink Floyd’s drummer Nick Mason performed Wish You Were Here at the Olympics Closing Ceremony with pop star Ed Sheeran.You can view photos of Nick Mason at Olympics.

Although there was no appearance from David Gilmour or Roger Waters, the “Burning Man” was recreated from the Wish You Were Here album cover and the band were made complete by Mike Rutherford from Genesis and Richard Jones from The Feeling.

Spectacular Event

The London Olympics 2012 has been a spectacular event and kept many people around the world entertained with hours of sport each day. People have pushed the bar of human achievement higher in the games with records being broken. Usain Bolt’s performance in the men’s 100 metres was always going to be a highlight.
