1977-07-01 Pink Floyd Madison Square Garden

In 1977 Pink Floyd performed 4 nights at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, New York. Elliot Tayman has kindly let me reproduce the pictures he took here in the NPF gallery from the first night. The band would come back in 1987 to perform three more shows. It would only be a few days after this concert that Roger Waters spat in the face of a fan in Montreal and was inspired to write The Wall album.
