Roger Waters: Amused To Death, Analogue Productions Edition

The much celebrated Roger Waters solo album, Amused To Death, is to be released in a new 45RPM 4LP 200g set with remastered audio from James Guthrie. It costs £190 so will probably not feature in most people’s collections. This is according to Rough Trade records in the UK. The American distributor Acoustic Sounds has it as a 180g pressing. Rough Trade appears to have to finished artwork on their site, so presumably their information is the most up to date. Discuss on the forum. In addition to this release, people are of course waiting for the Animals 5.1 mix to be released with the edited liner notes which were causing a delay. My well placed source said the rumoured release date of 30th September 2022 is something they are not aware of. Audiophiles will be pleased to know that Roger Waters’ excellent Amused to Death solo album from 1992 is to be released on 4x 45rpm LPs having been remixed and put on a format which is quieter. It will be on 200g vinyl. The album is considered by many to be Roger’s finest solo album and sounds fantastic. These collectors editions are usually bought by unscrupulous people to sell on later at a high profit so, if these records are of interest to you, then you should get hold of some from the source! Roger Waters’ solo album Amused to Death has been remixed and remastered and will is released tomorrow much to the delight of many fans. You can pick up a copy from Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk and have it shipped to you in no time – it is released 24th July 2015 and is one of many great things happening this year. Roger Waters Amused To Death 2015 Remaster Available in July

Roger Waters’ 1992 album Amused To Death has been remixed and will be re-released on 24th July 2015 in a range of editions much to the delight of Roger Waters fans. The 2015 editions of Amused to Death feature a new 5.1 surround remix of the album on high-definition Blu-ray audio and a new remastered stereo mix completed by long-time Roger Waters / Pink Floyd collaborator and co-producer, James Guthrie. The cover and gatefold art has been updated for 2015 by Sean Evans, the creative director of Waters’ 2010-2013 “The Wall Live” tour and movie.
