Syd Barrett Movie in Cinemas from 15th May

Following the Preview of Have You Got It Yet The Story of Syd Barrett & Pink Floyd in London (27th April 2023) we are please to announce that you will be able to watch the feature length documentary film in a selection of Everyman cinemas in the UK from 15th May 2023. It will be available in other regions too later in the year. Unseen Footage The official trailer of the 1h 34m feature length documentary film features previously unseen video of Syd Barrett including the reel below. Previously only photo stills had been available but now this video has been shared. Dom Beken Biography

Dom Beken is the keyboard player from Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets band long with Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, Nick Mason and co founder Lee Harris. Dom has played in several bands including Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets, The Orb, High Frequency Bandwidth, Transit Kings, Belka and Strelka and Just Jack. Dom Beken is also a composer and producer and has worked with several game creators, including Ubisoft and Q Games, to create their soundtracks. Upon completing his studies at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, he embarked on an engineering career at Liverpool’s Parr Street Studios (once owned by Phil Collins). In no time, he expanded his skills to include programming, arranging, and assisting fellow composers and artists in studios throughout London. His portfolio boasts numerous documentary scores, such as Channel 4’s critically acclaimed Proud and Prejudiced, collaborations with niche Japanese game developers Q Games (Shooter 1 & 2...

Roger Waters in Liverpool – A Review with Pictures and Videos

Roger Waters is on his Us and Them Tour which he has taken all over the world and called in at the Echo Arena in Liverpool last night and gave an amazing show to his fans. There are some spoilers in this article! He played songs from Dark Side of the Moon where his two female backing singers did a hauntingly good version of Great Gig in the Sky featuring some new harmonies which gave it a fresh re-make. The Wall also featured playing classics like Another Brick in the Wall Part 2 and used some excellent projections onto the large screen behind the stage giving an interesting multimedia experience that the Pink Floyd and Roger are well known for.
