Listen To New Pink Floyd Song Louder Than Words

A video has appeared on Pink Floyd’s Youtube channel containing an interview with David Gilmour and Nick Mason on Pink Floyd’s new album The Endless River. It also contains a preview of the song Louder Than Words which the four part album slowly builds up to over 55 or so minutes. Gilmour also suggests that this is the final output from the band, Richard Wright’s tribute. Some of you will be very eager to get a preview of the lyrics to Louder Than Words whereas others will not want to hear until they have the full album. Pink Floyd New Album: What To Expect, Take A Listen

Pink Floyd’s new studio album The Endless River is released in multiple formats on 10th November 2014. Which one is for you? A new microsite has now been launched for the album with lots of photos, audio and information about the release. More on this below. So, what can fans expect from the new Pink Floyd album? Well it is mainly an ambient instrumental album and features one song with words by David Gilmour’s wife Polly Samson called Louder Than Words. There is one song from the Division Bell demos that has been circulating in very low quality audio for some years which can be listened to here. Polly Samson Saved Drowning Man

David Gilmour’s wife Polly Samson saved a drowning man down in Brighton where she lives (minus her bike shed) after pulling him out of the sea. The man apparently did not want to be saved and insisted on dying by trying to get back into the freezing winter sea. Polly was in a conversation with a friend on Twitter and said to them, “could have done with your manly chest just now as pulled drowning man from sea who didn’t want to be saved.” Polly Samson added that she had found the man’s “prone body washing to and fro through the shingle” but that after he was rescued and revived, he leapt back into the sea. The incident was reported in The Daily Telegraph newspaper. David Gilmour’s Beach Hut Must Go Else Be Prosecuted!

There is more trouble for the Gilmour family in Hove, Sussex as the local council are on their case about a beach hut they have erected on their property in which they store their bicycles. The authorities are not content with putting their son Charlie Gilmour in prison for 16 months and want more blood, this time threatening to prosecute the family if they do not remove the hut! The council say that the hut at the £3m property is not fitting with the local area which is a “conservation area”. It has been decided that this offending hut must be gone! David’s wife – mother of jailed Charlie – appealed against the authorities but lost and now has to remove the bright yellow hut that the council have deemed to be an “eyesore”.
