The great news is that another David Gilmour concert was announced on the North American 2016 leg of his tour for new album Rattle That Lock. The concert was announced to be performed in Los Angeles at the LA Forum on the 27th March 2016. David is playing two other nights in LA at the Hollywood Bowl on 24th and 25th March as was previously announced. Tickets from David Gilmour at LA Forum go on sale tomorrow at TicketMaster.com from 10am PDT. Make sure you get in there quick because the tickets will sell out faster than you can sip a cup of English tea! David Gilmour’s new song Rattle That Lock from his new album with the same title will be played on BBC Radio 2 in the UK this coming Friday 17th July 2015. The Breakfast Show is broadcast between 6:30am and 9:30am with David’s new album title track being broadcast at 8:10am GMT. It will be hosted by DJ Sara Cox. With David Gilmour’s 2015 tour due to start in only a few months, David Gilmour has revealed the name of the album he has been working on which will be released later this year. The album is called Rattle That Lock and will be David’s fourth solo studio album following the self titled David Gilmour (1978), About Face (1984) and On an Island (2006). Lyrics are Hard to Write! David and his song-writing partner Polly Samson attended the Borris House Festival of Writing over the weekend where David revealed in an interview the title of the album. David’s wife Polly Samson told of how difficult it was getting lyrics out of the guitarist and likened it to getting a child to do his homework!
