The albums has been remixed and has been delayed in being released since 2018 due to differences between Mr Waters and Mr Gilmour over the liner notes written by journalist Mark Blake. Unseen Pink Floyd Syd Barrett Photos 20+ professional photos of Pink Floyd’s performance at Gyllene Cirkeln in Sweden 1967, by photographer Kenneth Ekberg, have been discovered and will be shared for the first time on 26th February 2022. Details of the exhibition, which includes a performance Men On The Border and guests, will be shared in due course. Please come and discuss on the forum. One of the guests is Janne Schaffer, of ABBA fame, who will bring the amplifier that he used that very might in 1967 as a support act to Pink Floyd and lent to Syd Barrett for the evening. A live recording of this particular concert was officially released in Pink Floyd The Early Years mammoth box set, later releases as separates, and is widely available on the bootleg/ROIO scene. If you are not ready to invest in the big box of goodies, you will be able to enjoy the Pulse concert in all its glory without degradation of video tape. Its out in February 2022 and the Animals release, that is very eagerly anticipated, should be out in June 2022. There are two discs in the package with the first containing the concert film with the new enhanced video quality. It really does look a lot better now that it has been recaptured from the source and re-edited. The director John Edginton has been in touch to kindly share the interview videos he did, largely unedited, with members of Pink Floyd. John used the interviews in the documentary he directed called The Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett Story which was done back in 2001 for the BBC, but later released on DVD in 2003. I think it was also on VH1 earlier than 2003. The videos presented here are longer than those featured as bonus material on the DVD. Syd Barrett himself watched the documentary. According to his sister Rosemary, Syd watched the documentary when it was broadcast on the BBC. He apparently found it “a bit noisy”, although he did enjoy seeing Mike Leonard, who he referred to as his “teacher”. He also enjoyed hearing “See Emily Play” again. Richard Wright Biography

Richard Wright was an English musician and songwriter who is best known as the keyboardist, vocalist, and founding member of the legendary progressive rock band Pink Floyd. Born on July 28th, 1943 in London, England, Wright grew up in a musical family and showed an early aptitude for the piano. Wright began his musical career as a session musician, playing on a number of recordings by other artists. He met Roger Waters and Nick Mason while studying architecture at the London Polytechnic, and the three of them formed Pink Floyd in 1965. Wright was the band’s keyboardist and played a variety of other instruments, including the organ and synthesizer. He was also a key songwriter and vocalist for the band, contributing to many of Pink Floyd’s biggest hits.
