The 1975 Pink Floyd ‘Comic’ Tour Book Programme is a unique and collectible item that was published to coincide with the band’s “Dark Side of the Moon” tour. Created by Storm Thorgerson’s Hipgnosis, the comic was titled “Super, All-Action Official Music Programme for Boys and Girls” and featured the band members as comic book heroes.

In this comic book, Roger Waters is depicted as “Rog of the Rovers,” a play on the British comic book hero Roy Race, captain of the soccer team Melchester Rovers. Nick Mason is portrayed as “Captain Mason, R.N.,” a brave WWII naval hero. Dave Gilmour is “Dave Derring,” known for his acts of derring-do, and Richard Wright is “Rich Right,” a chick magnet.

The comic book also included sections where the band members responded to queries about their height, weight, philosophical beliefs, sexual proclivities, political leanings, and musical dislikes. This tour book has become a collector’s item since its publication and is highly sought after by Pink Floyd fans.
