David Gilmour Later…with Jools Holland Recording 2024
David Gilmour and his 2024 touring band have been recording an episode of Later…with Jools Holland at the Alexandra Palace in London. The Ally Pally was of course the venue for the 14 Hour Technicolour Dream adventure on 30th April 1967 that Syd Barrett’s Pink Floyd performed at.
The new series of Later… With Jools Holland is broadcast on BBC Two on Saturday nights. David Gilmour’s appearance will be broadcast on Saturday 2nd November 2024. Other artists on the show include punk rockers Amyl and the Sniffers, 80s icons The The, singer-songwriter Dhruv and hip-hop tour de force Moonchild Sanelly.

You can watch the programme online. Might need a VPN set to a UK server if…. you have gone on holiday from the UK and are a BBC Licence Fee payer…
