David Gilmour MOJO Review and Unboxing Video
David Gilmour’s forthcoming album Luck and Strange is reviewed in the latest edition of MOJO Magazine. The four star review gives away some information about the as yet unheard songs by the general public. There are some very interesting parallels with Dark Side of the Moon in the closing track Scattered.
The article says, “In the closing track, the slow-moving Scattered, with its Dark Side… heartbeat pulse, the couple walk arm in arm down a “dusty old path” as “the sunset cuts the hill in half”, both of them bathing in as opposed to raging against, the dying of the light”. Very poetic and fitting of what hopefully wont be his final album.
The album finishes with an epic guitar solo. David has said he wants to get on with another album fairly quickly after this one.
