David Gilmour Prog Magazine Front Cover plus Saucers Review
David Gilmour Prog Magazine Feature in Issue 152 hits the shelves on August 2nd in the UK (and August 30 for our US readers.
This issue is particularly special and one that many fans may buy as a piece of memorabilia as it marks the return of David Gilmour, nine years after his last solo album. His new release, Luck And Strange, is set to debut on September 6.
The magazine states that fans of David Gilmour will be pleased to find that his signature evocative guitar tone, emotive solos, and distinct voice – the very essence of a great Gilmour album – are all present and accounted for. Gilmour opens up about his upcoming release and reveals plans for a follow-up. Prog magazine say they have also reached out to 30 of his peers, collaborators, fellow musicians, and fans in the prog world to share their favourite David Gilmour performance.
If that wasn’t enough for you, there is also a two page write up on Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets. It reviews their performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall. This is a venue David Gilmour will of course call at on his Luck and Strange tour.
