David Gilmour did a video interview about his recording process and new album Luck and Strange with well-known YouTuber Rick Beato. Its very enlightening and well worth grabbing a brew and watching!

David talked about making a new album…

Rick asked David about making a new album possibly in 2025 with his new band, “Do you think that you’ll work together and make any more music with the band that you have right now?”. David seemed very positive and upbeat when he replied, “I see no reason why I wouldn’t, yeah, absolutely. I’d love to”. Rick followed up with, “Cause to me its like you guys are just getting going and I was thinking like this would be a good, maybe make another record?”. To which David responded, “You know obviously that’s what I do and Polly and I are intending to go back to work as soon as we can to, you know, starting off with other bits of music that I’ve got, and that process of listening back to old demos and things usually starts a process of new ideas rising to the surface as well, that’s what we hope for anyway. So yeah. Our intention is to get on with that.”
