To celebrate the success of his new album and tour, David Gilmour has released a special live version of the first single from “Luck and Strange,” titled “The Piper’s Call Live Around The World.” This digital-only release features recordings from various iconic venues including The Brighton Centre, Circus Maximus in Rome, the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, and Madison Square Garden in New York.

“Luck and Strange,” produced by David Gilmour and Charlie Andrew, features nine tracks, including singles like “The Piper’s Call” and “Dark And Velvet Nights.” The album artwork and photography are by Anton Corbijn.

The album was recorded over five months in Brighton and London. It features contributions from Romany Gilmour and the late Pink Floyd keyboard player Richard Wright. The tour included sold-out shows in Rome, London, Los Angeles, and New York.
