Columbia Records have made available preview clips of David Gilmour’s forthcoming album On An Island on this microsite.
Competition (USA Only)
In addition to the album preview clips, you can also enter a competition to win some pretty good prizes and some pretty rubbish ones!!
You are entered into the competition if you pre-order the album from the Columbia website! But there is no purchase necessary to enter the competition! You can also enter here if, like me, you have purchased the album elsewhere.
The Grand Prize includes:
- Two tickets to see David Gilmour’s April 20th sold out concert at GIBSON AMPHITHEATRE in Universal City
- Two round trip tickets to Los Angeles
- Hotel accommodations at the legendary Chateau Marmont hotel
- Transportation to and from the concert – rock and roll style
- An autographed David Gilmour Guitar
- “On an Island” CD plus the David Gilmour catalog collection and DVD
Second Place Prizes:
Twenty five (25) Winners will receive a signed David Gilmour lithograph
Third Place Prizes:
Ten (10) Winners will receive a David Gilmour baseball hat and the On An Island CD
