I used to design fake album covers all the time when I was younger...well, except they were for a made up band, not a real one. But I think someone's just having fun, not trying to pull a hoax or anything. Because you had to know no one was going to believe it, and if they did, for what purpose? Well, of course, with all the crap that's going on on the internet these days, who knows for sure? But it sure doesn't look like a cover PF would have. Looks more like the artwork from some 90's techno album.

Yeah it looks like a '90s techno CD or video game cover with some somewhat dated computer graphics...most likely not real, but the best hoax so far (and yeah Roger's name being misspelled doesn't help At least on this one they didn't try to amateurishly incorporate old song names into the new song names or the album title...the song names actually sound believable.

Gilmour wrote Sorrow on his own, Coming Back to Life on his own and Where We Start on his own. The rest of TDB's lyrics were by Gilmour and Polly Samson(she was his lyric proofreader). On an Island, David helped on lyrics to the title cut and This Heaven. He wrote the instrumentals alone.Dowie100 wrote:Hmm, may I point out an album called "The Divison Bell" and he did cowrite a few of the song lyrics on "On an Island" I forget which it was and don't have the cd with me.henno wrote:
the complete give away is 2 songs credited to David Gilmour.....

Yes, his posts havent added anyting to a thread for a while. I think I will add him to my watch list!
AsydWaters, stop posting crap for the sake of it and taking the momentum away from threads. People tend to reply to the last thing wrote on the thread and, if you are adding crap, that will kill the thread. You are going to be moniroted for your spam/flooding.

With the Division Bell, why did Dave phone about 20 people to try and get him to write Floydian lyrics?!?!?! Not very original.Dowie100 wrote:Hmm, may I point out an album called "The Divison Bell" and he did cowrite a few of the song lyrics on "On an Island" I forget which it was and don't have the cd with me.henno wrote:

And the lyrics on the On an Island album, I get the feeling he was writing any old thing to fit the music! But of course that is just me, and hell, I think Bob Dylan is an average writer!
