individually painted by the visual mastermind behind The Dark Side of The Moon, Ian Emes. The finished guitar features the iconic artwork from the ‘Time’ sequence. Pink Floyd is one of the most popular English rock bands of all time. In the late 1960s they earned recognition for their psychedelic and space rock music, and in the 1970s, as they evolved, for their progressive rock music. Pink Floyd's work is marked by philosophical lyrics, sonic experimentation, innovative album cover art, and elaborate live shows. One of rock music's most critically acclaimed and commercially successful acts, the group has sold over 200 million albums worldwide, including 74.5 million certified units in the United States.

Ian Emes is a British animator and film director, from Handsworth, Birmingham, England, known for his work with Pink Floyd, who have used his animated films as back-projections in concert and released them as extras on their DVDs.

Estimated value $25,000  . I think this could have been done in a better way by having people give fixed donations of say $1000 dollars and then draw a name for the winner. They'd possibly get more money that way and it gives the ordinary fan a chance of winning it rather than someone who possibly looks on it as a potential investment.
