Just noticed that Gilmour sings in pompeii:

instead of

I've got the wall you need.

from the div bell and PULSE.
funny that... didn't notice that live when he dusted it off in LA and later shows (sorry, can't keep throwing that out there)

all right! I must have been tripping all these years.. just checked online and I guess that's the official lyrics... then revisited my albums and indeed that is what he says... I guess I must have come up with the alternate, aggressive lyrics myself though usually I read them somewhere first as lyrics are just not my thing... anyway

I have never heard that lyric as "I've got the wall you need." I've always heard it as "I'm not the one you need."

The reference to the wall doesn't make sense with the "oh no" afterwards, but that does make sense after "I'm not the one you need."

I also can't find any reference to the other lyric in a Google search.
