Has anyone here read this book? I just got the book and started reading it, so I'm interested in anyones opinion.

I haven't read it and I'm not going to read it. It's parasitic by design. It can't stand up as a book on it's own without exploiting the brand name pink floyd.

Yeah, I bought this a few months ago. It's somewhat variable in quality and there's quite a bit of spelling out of quite basic Floyd biography, which gets a bit tedious.
But overall I'd say it hits the spot - going deeper than elsewhere in picking out strands of thought which run between different eras of the band, framing it within philosophical themes - Nietzsche, alienation etc

I've read several of the essays.
Some are interesting, some other quite boring.
Which is to be expected from a book collecting material from different authors from the academic world.
Not a wasted reading, but it is a reading that requires some focus.
