Looking in the pipeline (any DSOTM news?)

Post by bmet »

I was planning to just send a private e-mail to Keith,but I thought I'd
open it up to all Floyd fans living in the U.K.
Has there been word of any special happenings in London regarding
the 30th Anniversary of DSOTM.Are there any press conferences planned
featuring all or some of the band members? Is there much publicity going
on? Are there any Radio Stations in England (Do you have any Classic
Rock stations in the U.K.?) that are planning anything?
I know,or I believe,that Nick & David still live in England.They would
probably be the most accessible to comments.
Just wondering......

Classic Rock Magazine has a feature on it actually, they call it the best concept album ever. Also in the top 30 (for 30 years of DSOTM obviously) are The Wall, TFC and strangely Radio kaos.

not really strange.

Everyone picks on this album for the songs, but if you think about it in terms of the story and the lyrics, then it works quite well.

I don't think classic rock magazine is available in aermica, although i'm sure you'll have a magazine tha's pretty much the same.

Actually, classic rock magazine isn't as good as the magazine mojo that we have, that may be in the us. Rolling Stones definitly in the us to and is sometimes good.
