Ah, Gordy... It's me, blues!

I'm from Melbourne, Australia, and I've been a Floyd fan since I was very little when I saw The Wall film - which in hindsight wasn't exactly the most appropriate film for a four-year old to watch. But it laid the seeds for my future taste in music.

I was a member of APFFN from 2013 until its recent shutdown. I was a moderator on that forum during the last month of its existence. As a result, I as well as many others - including Gordy above - made the migration to this forum.

My favourite era of Pink Floyd is the Syd Barrett era followed by the Roger Waters led era, the "Democratic" era (1968-1977), and the David Gilmour led era.

Hi folks. Just signed up today to the forum. I'm a long-time fan of Floyd, ever since I heard Money being played on a jukebox in the south of France in about 1973. It was a great time for music, and I was discovering an embarrassment of riches in the form of Pink Floyd, Genesis, Yes, Deep Purple, Focus, Frank Zappa and Mike Oldfield.

I'm looking forward to the release later this month of the zipped-up version of Amused To Death!

KK10.

In Holland they are starting too!
I really like it, how sooner how better

Hello:
My name is Brian and I just wanted to say hello to everyone on this board. I am from New York and I have been following this board for some time now. It has always been an enjoyable read and I look forward to contributing some Pink Floyd stories I have from seeing them in the 1970s. But since this thread is just about greetings , I will simply say Hello!
Thanks
Brian Kachejian

Hello Brian, and welcome to the funhouse :) !
Just out of curiosity (not racism): are you of Armenian ancestry? I'm only wondering because I have born in Caucasus 8)

Anyway, we'd love to hear the stories any time you feel like telling them ;) We'll get some popcorn and drinks.
