Hello,
I've been a newsletter subscriber for a while but hadn't really checked out the forum until recently. thanks to everyone for providing such a cool site. i live in the state of VA, in the US and I'm a computer guy by trade. Of course, I do like to listen to Pink Floyd and many other bands.
Regards,
Mark
New Members Say Hello Thread!!
Huuu!
Here's B?rbara, [proudly] from Brazil!!
God, I really got no words to say how much I love PF, especially Syd.
It's something surreal what I feel about him... I really "can't explain"!
Whatever...
I'm here to introduce myself.
Well... I'm 17, I live in a state called Minas Gerais (something like "General Mines", because there was a lot of goldmines here before the portuguese took all the gold to pay its bills with England), in its capital, called Belo Horizonte ("Beautiful Horizon").
There's a lot of PF fans here in BH (and prog rock fans in general); and as we'll never able to see a PF concert (how sad it is!), we content ourselves withsome cover bands, like Ummagumma. Oh, cover bands...
How I'd like to see them (David, Rick, Roger or Nick) live! God!
Well, now I can meet Syd in the stars... or on the dark side of the moon [I won't even comment this part...]

Obs.: Sorry if I wrote something wrong. My English is not thaaat good, but I'm trying!

Hello from a Fellow Floyd Fan
Hello All! Been a member for awhile, usually just quietly read and enjoy. Thought it time to say hello & a job well done on the postings and administration. I am a marketing manager from the southeastern US. 49 years young & have been a Floyd fan since 1973. Have most of their music, new and old. Love talking about all things Floyd.....

it just looks odd in my browser
maybe your using some portuguese characters and my Internet Explorer is translating them into chunks of code?
it looks like this to me
B & # 9 4 5 ; b i * B R
but when i type the same characters here and post them they look like this
Bαbi*BR
wierd, doesnt matter, it just tells me my browsers got issues
EDIT: I see, its that lower case A: its an α instead of an a
