It was a bad year for me. I won't dwell on it, because I know everyone has difficulties in life, but in the past year, I ended up having emergency abdominal surgery, my wife had a life threatening infection that was abscessing into her skull, my father passed away, I developed very painful tendonitis in my ankle which has severely affected my walking (and my job keeps me on my feet most of the time), and just when I thought things could not get any worse, my wife, who I've been with for 25 years, left me. I kinda fell apart after that. But I've pulled myself back together, getting back into my creative endeavors and am looking at the future much more positively now. Thanks everyone for all your well wishes, it meant a lot to me. And I'm glad to be back!

So sad to hear that, Jeff. It's touching to know that even though all of this happened to you, you still didn't give up.

I hope you'll find the little comfort in the fact that if the whole world doesn't care about what happens to you, we guys at NPF do.
