With A Little Help From My Fwends (Sgt.PLHCB cover album) follows on from Dark Side in as much as they started playing the odd track live and eventually recorded the album with some of their fwends. It is quite good but it does have Miley Cyrus on it!!

BTW 'Electric Wurms' are a Flaming lips side project

There is a new proper Flaming Lips album on the way. It looks to be shaping up pretty well.

What we know:

As of the beginning of July, the band had two complete songs and 50-60 fragments\ideas to work with
They have collaborated with Miley Cyrus on 6-7 songs, but only some of them will be on the album
The album features appearances by Ariel Pink and Sarah Barthel.

The Flips have always been on the other side of sanity and have embraced it. But sometimes too much is too much - see the Miley album. Okay, The Flips, we get it, we get it; now, can we please move on?
