What do you think about scorpions participation on Rog's The Wall live?? I mean, it's so nice to see your 2nd fav band playing together w/ someone of your fav band and playing your fav album's songs!
I loved Klaus Meine singing In The Flesh?, then the Scorps playing In The Flesh, Run Like Hell and Waiting For The Worms...AMAZING!!!
GREAT participation, IMO

There are a couple of songs I like from them. And Hetfield of Metallica, was inspired from them, so I like them.
Not my favorites though.

Why would anyone wannabe be like Def Leppard or Motley Crue? (I mean that in the musical sense, obviously there are many perks beyond that)

Scorps were making music alot longer than Def Leppard or Motley Crue. I think there first record was '72 or '73. Their early stuff is the best IMO
