I watched The Fall play at Glastonbury and had never really heard or seen them play before.
Since then I can't decide if they are really good or really crap ?
Any cases for or against or can anyone point me to there "best" album for further listening (pleasure?)

I have liked them for a long time, but also can't figure out if they are really good or really crap either.
Mark E. Smith writes very interesting lyrics - very engaging stuff, just trying to figure out what he is saying. Sometimes it seems like pure nonsense, which is okay and purposeful.
For me, the beginning of their musical output to about 1989 is pretty great. It gets dicey after that, and you have to go through a lot of reviews to try to figure out what might appeal in the 90s and 00s/10s...
