While I think it's cool he got the award I kinda think it would be like him to think it was a bit over the top.

For 100% Bob is a legend of the history of the music. You can't hate him because all that he made - one of the biggecst contribution in music art. As he said in his interview after Nobel Ceremony: "I always tried to left trail behind me and today is a special day for me. Day when people said me that I changed the history

Spot on, poetry is part of literature, you list some great poets and I have no issue there. Bob is an accomplished lyricist, many think second to none, I previously noted that in my opinion his words work best with music, see earlier comments particularly the 'Forever Young' comment.

As an aside, well done Bob.

I think Bob deserved it fair and square. He's a great poet and songwriter. He changed popular music. And he doesn't really care about it...
