I personally loathe Greenday.
All this hyped crap about this band really pisses me off. They are absolutely nothing special whatsoever or rather just a bunch of yanks jumping up and down and trying to grunge a bit. My hamster could make better music than these overated 'gee whizz man oh yeah man, american idiot man' bores and if i hear that bloody 'When September ends' song once more on Virgin fm, i am going to personally go round there with several handgrenades, a howitzer, 4 pavement to virgin HQ missiles and bomb the basterds to hell.

Rap is ok when...

The only times I have been able to appreciate rap is when it is contained in a movie such as 8 Mile or the recent Step Up. Violins and rap definitely go together well!

Yeah that's pretty well articulated i must admit but sometimes it's great to slag off a band or two that you Passionately hate or loathe.

Yeah, I have that on vinyl. Bought it for $5 about 15 years ago. His version of Mr. Tambourine Man is equally as funny. I like how Shatner now makes a lot of his living taking the piss out of himself.

Yes nice to know he never got 'lost in showbiz' like most of the hollywood fraternity are.

I know, getting slightly off topic here, but yeah, William Shatner does have a great sense of humour about himself. Check out the movie "Free Enterprise" to see him at his self-deprecating best. He's brilliant and hilarious, playing himself in it.

I like Shakira. One of the less derivative, generic pop stars today.
