Can Someone Do The Site A Favour?

Post by Keith Jordan »

Could someone torrent the first volume of the tribute CDs on the new tracker? Ideally it should be the exact same folder as on the old tracker. It is just that I am getting rid of the old tracker soonish.

I only got it in audio, cause some silly bugger made the decision to make the cds audio, and not lossless files :P.

Wav fits the term lossless, which is erroneous anyway as theres no such thing as a lossless recording :P

Maybe it would be an idea for someone to create a flac version from their audio, its not doing the rounds in flac so it might as well now that more people are familiar with the format.

If you have the original, ORIGINAL wav files (the master copies) it would probably be best to do it from them, in case the CDs that the flac rip is made from has a scratch or some garble on it.

The original wav files are long gone, looks like it might be a case of having to download it off the Echoes Hub and then create a new torrent, im not sure whats happened to all the people that downloaded all 3 discs from the torrent tho, theres over a 1000 of them, Id have thought 1 of them might have stepped up to the plate by now, it only needs 1 person to get the ball rolling.

I think we can keep it as SHN for now. I just added them to the tracker and will seed them for a while.

Whilst I am waiting for the discs off Stu and the art from Damn!t for Volume 2, I think a little publicity for Vol 1 in the newsletter would a) generate some interest early for Vol 2 and put it in people's minds and b) will help get the 3 CDs of vol 1 seeding healthily. I am seeding about 6 things at present so could do with some help if anyone can be bothered and/or is able?

yeh im getting 3kb/sec, overall 9kb/sec with 2-3 days remaining on them, so we do need some more seeders.
