Re: This Could Work...
My band is working on Life Could Be A Dream (Time Travelers I am probably going to do as a solo project). Life Could Be a Dream is starting to come together nicely with a very early Floydian chord progression my wife wrote. I'm working on the melody and our keyboardist and I are working on the lyrics together. I think it will have a very More era feel to it. Time Travelers I'm thinking more of a DSOTM/WYWH era, maybe a sort of cross between On the Run and Welcome to the Machine kind of sound to it, but it's still early in development.

This sounds like an interesting idea. I fancy the title Black Holes in the Sky, an old roio with dodgy informaton, for an ambient piece with space overtones.

Re: This Could Work...
I am a noob,so I'll take whatever is going.
I liked:
"Dream's factory
Enjoy the silence"
I think possibly they could be combined into a two part piece.
Let me know if that's ok and I'll start thinking.
Where do you upload them when you have done?
Nigel.

Hey Nigel, you were in Gunslinger? Cool, I just listened to Earthquake in E Minor the other week and really liked it. I'm listening to your myspace stuff right now and enjoying that too. I definitely think you'll be able to contribute some great stuff for this new project. Welcome aboard!

Thank you for listening mate!
Yes I did the Gunslinger album, glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for listening to the solo stuff as well.
To be honest,my solo material is more me NOW.
It was just the oppotunity came up with Alan leaving Hawkwind for us to get together again and redo our old Gunslinger band material.
Well,if I am permitted to join in,I will do me best mate
Bit I know I am a noob here,so I'll wait and see if there's room

I'm sort of the guy co-ordinating the project right now, Nigel; and I feel quite safe in saying that there's plenty of room for you to come aboard.
Just send me a pm when you've finished your piece(s) and I'll let you know what to do from there.
Welcome aboard.

Thank you
One last question...
As co-ordinator,do you need seperate files of each instrument or the song as a complete song?
I tend to use rather a lot of tracks to get where I want it to be.
In excess of 40+ tracks per song sometimes.

Re: This Could Work...
I've done that myself a time or two.
The complete song will work if you're happy with the mix.
