My cover of Comfortably Numb solo

Post by blackstratfan »

Well, having built a Gilmour tribute relic Black Strat, the only way to test it is to play it. Here's my take on the Comfortably Numb solo. Excuse the mistakes here and there, once I make a better version I'll upload that video too. I've uploaded it onto my Facebook page along with all my other videos. What do you think guys?

You know it's one of those most well known Gilmour solos there are from the Floyd catalogue. You'd think before attempting this you know exactly where each and every single bend and slide is because after all, you've heard the solo thousands of times. However, it's when you actually go and try and play it when things start to become difficult. You fail to realise how long the solo actually is......and forget when to play certain parts. Anywya, got there in the end, though with many mistakes.

Your thoughts will be much appreciated. :thumb:
