Post by tea-set »

do you think/know if there will be a dress code for the royal albert hall shows?

its quite a classy place after all so i'm worried they might not like my baggy jeans, t shirt and trainers look

also do you think you'll be allowed digital/disposable cameras in there?

Shouldn't be a dress code ..... you're a paying guest so you can't be dictated to about what to wear ....

as for Cameras ..... I would say that's a big no no .... usually is

Wear nothing!!! But then where would you hide your 16million megapixel camera and DVD-Audio recorder!! :o :D

I may have to chance buying a relatively cheap handheld and easily concealable digital video camera to record the manchester Bridgewater performance. I may have to record the RAH one as well!! 8)

At royalalberthall.com there is a page with "Hall Etiquette" It says:

"There is no dress code for the majority of shows. If a dress code is requested for a particular performance, patrons will be notified on their tickets."

"Cameras & Electronic Devices" It says:

"Cameras, video equipment and tape recorders are not permitted."

There is no dress code at the RAH and you'd get in wearing jeans.

However, a couple of my friends are coming over from the US and we'ere seriously considering wearing little black dresses as we want to look our best for the occasion :P

I've taken my tiny camera in to the RAH on many occasions. However, it fits into a small pocket.
