I thought the eyepatch was because there was something wrong with her eyelid rather than an eyesight problem. Still, anyone who duets with East 17 deserves every bit of obscurity they can get.

Oh, and I'm sure David Gilmour uses a Mac

They were probably scheming on how to get rid of Roger and replace him with a more cooperative and complacent stand-in, the same way they did with McCartney back in the day.

It's either a ventilation/heating system of some sort...I saw that too on those pics from his shed rehearsals...
Or, it's a tube that leads to the staff in the kitchen so he can shout "I need coffee, bitch!"
