Gilmour won't be plugging anything here will he? I mean two of those songs are from over 30 years ago after all, I would hate for him to be resting on his laurels.

Good job he's a buddy of Jools Holland. It must be all of two years ago since he was last hawking those songs around various TV shows.

Re: Gilmour to play live...
Nice news, I read it on the blog... David Gilmour actually has one of my meteorites!
I hope it will be broadcast here in the USA, but if it isnt... Im sure a copy will be available.
On a side note concerning Gilmour and Jools Holland - anyone who has Charter Cable can go to the Concert TV section in the On Demand area and Davids last appearance on the show is available to watch for free... Great performance, his voice sounds straind however.

There is a video of Arnold Layne on youtube, however I understand somebody intentionally mixed Rick's voice far too high for that video, as it wasn't like that on the original broadcast.

Perhaps on the youtube video, but definitely not on the single that was released. The vocals are pretty damn good if you ask me.David Smith wrote:His vocals on it sound a damn site better than Rick's did last time

Jack White sounds awful on record
To be fair, Rick sang Arnold Layne better on other tour dates. That performance on Jools Holland was the worst ever.

I think the common version of Arnold Layne from the Jools show on youtube was uploaded by a BBC worm, who had remixed the vocals very high for comic effect.

WHY CANT HE COME to
the united states of america.
pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
i would go there. but you see, a little child spends her entire summer making about 1500 dollars.
and i'm pretty sure that might get me half way there and then they would have to throw me out of the plane.
