David Gilmour Talks to Tim Willis Audio Interview

Pink Floyd guitarist and singer David Gilmour has caught with old friend Tim Willis for an audio interview on the high50 website where Tim is editor-in-chief.
Tim Willis wrote the biography of Syd Barrett a few years ago called Madcap: The Half-Life of Syd Barrett. An excellent book and highly recommended if you have not read it so far. Tim contacted his friend Gilmour to ask about talking about the recording of The Dark Side of the Moon album.

That turned out to be a surprisingly interesting interview. Especially when he started talking about remastering and putting tapes in the oven Unlike old David though, I shall never sit in a room, listen to On An Island in its entirety and enjoy it
