RAH Gigs 23-25th September 2015

Post by learningtofly »

Hi all, worth starting a new thread for this first run of dates. I’m going 25th , seats in choir area behind stage but tbh just glad to be able to attend at all.
With the tour reviews so far and new CD so impressive, anticipation reaching boling point!

Haven’t seen any reviews from Oberhausen yet, but gather CBTT has been in the set in Orange and Florence.

I’d imagine the set will remain pretty much the same in Europe actually, maybe one or two songs exchanged from night to night.

Looking forward to hearing others thoughts....!

Really looking forward to this. Going on the 23rd and 24th. Perhaps Crosby and Nash will be there tomorrow as they have a break in dates for their tour.

That reminds me, my 10-inch single of Arnold Layne should have arrived by now.

I'd looove to see Crosby and Nash make an appearance like last time. Not sure if they or anyone will, but if they do, it won't be on the 25th when I'm going haha. I have a history of missing these things (missed Gilmour at The Wall by two nights :-({|= )

Unbelievably excited, this is a proper bucket list thing. Also helps that I'm loving the new album so I'm practically excited for every single song.

I'm pretty sure you'll be treated to Nick Mason on at least one of the nights.

David Gilmour was just on the radio (BBCR2) talking about the upcoming RAH shows. He hadn't decided on tonight's running order but said they would maybe move things around over the three nights to keep it interesting for them and the audience as he acknowledged some go every night.

I go Friday night and simply cannot wait !

Haha, again, I knew I would miss these kinda things. Oh well! I hope they did A Boat Lies Waiting and it was filmed for the eventual Blu-ray release of the tour!

Hi,

Can anyone who went to last night's show tell me what time it finished please?
Going tonight but need to be back at King's Cross for 23.20.
Thanks!
