Waters NA Tour

Post by Peppla »

Just got an email forwarded to me. It was an announcement to premium seat holders at the Air Canada Centre to purchase advance tickets to a Roger Waters concert in Toronto on September 20th! Does anybody have any info or has heard about this?

It says on Rogers website that: "There is a strong possibility of Roger doing a US Tour in Fall 2006." Seems pretty accurate!

Hey Peppla. If you're just screwing with me, we'll have to make a quick trip to behind the barn. I have my willow switch ready.

Yeah I was checking http://www.thedoctor.cc for a new podcast, and voila.

Sept. 8th - Mansfield, Massachusetts @ the Tweeter Center. So I guess they are getting dates together for the tour. It looks like it might be the "same" venues that he played for in the flesh (assuming).
neato.

Also just checked ticketmaster, and October 5, 2006 @ The Hollywood Bowl.

thats quita a price range

OK regarding the 1st post, I dont know anything about sports stuff
but is it saying that Season Ticket holders get the right of first refusal to a a rock concert in their stadium?
would a Season Ticket holder get rock concert tickets free, being as theyve paid for that seat for all season?
shouldnt you just accept your free ticket and sell it, even below cost it would still be all profit?
any sports loving floyd hating Season Ticket holders who dont know what to do with their free Roger Waters seats talk to me, I'll help you out of this situation

A lot of these venues sell season ticket deals. The two places in jersey are the basic seating/lawn seating venues. They only have concerts. And one is just 15 minutes from my house. Yay me.

Sorry about posting and running off for a few days...

The advance tickets for the Toronto show were only available to those who have 'seat licenses' for platnum seats at the arena. My friends company has this, so he was able to get tix through them.

The price for first level seating was between 160 and 120 canadian. Pretty pricey considering it was cheaper to see David Gilmour in a 2000 seat theatre than Roger Waters in an 20,000 seat arena!
