Roger Waters at Hyde Park questions.

Post by BonoVox »

I was just browsing through Roger's setlists on the current tour and noticed that he has been playing the whole of 'Dark Side' as a second set. i am going to the hyde park show and i know that it is billed as 'Roger Waters playind Dark Side Of The Moon' but i was just wondering whether it will just be 'Dark Side' or will he will be playing some other material aswell.??

sorry if this question has already been asked or there is a really obvious answer but i was just wondering!

and also does anyone know what time roger is due on stage??

I look forward to any responses. thanks

Well surely if you have been reading through the setlists, you would have noticed the 'other' material aswell ?

The whole tour's just been billed as Roger playing dark side of the moon (certainly on his official website for the tour) so should be giving us a full set as with the others :D

I'm told the site entrance is on South Carriage Drive, off Serpentine Road, opposite the bandstand and the lake.It seems Hyde park has an 11pm curfew so expect Rog on just before 9 and certainly expect the full two part set.I'm hoping Royston H will turn up to sing Have a Cigar!

Does anyone know when the Hyde Park Calling show is due to end? Also, does anyone know when the stations surrounding Hyde Park will be closing?

I believe it will end at 10.30 pm.

The tube stations are open until 1 pm. Hyde Park Corner tube is just outside the main gate and will quickly take you to Victoria via Green Park.

My last train which heads out to Kent is at 12.35 am.

I'm staying in Paddington. Only going to see Rog. Are you going?

Is walking back to Paddington after the show feasible?

Yes, I'd say so. Paddington is roughly 3 miles from Hyde Park.

Just make sure you have an A-Z.

Me and David did about that after Live8, and then spent the night in a draughty shop doorway in Victoria train station.
