Alright, colonel.
Will the album be about the death of his dad. It's a change, for sure.

Darn it, you have now reminded him, and he hasn't written about that in ages!rememberaday wrote:

Waters said he would explore the idea of releasing a single urging musicians not to perform in Israel. He intends to discuss this project with Steven Van Zandt, the guitarist in Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, who assembled many well-known musicians to record Sun City, a protest song against apartheid in South Africa during the 1980s.

Not to perform in Israel? Look, mr Waters, politicians is one thing, ordinary people are another. They're not necessarily to blame for authorities' mistakes.

Nah, I think he'll want to cover some new ground, maybe write about madness or a war or something.moom wrote:Darn it, you have now reminded him, and he hasn't written about that in ages!rememberaday wrote:

Yes! I love Roger's early material. Think "Set the controls..." or "Julia dream". But I'm afraid his new album will be more down-to-earth, political and such.moom wrote:Or stethoscopes.

But since he said it's gonna be different, maybe he really did move on this time. One of his latest songs (I don't remember the title) did sound like Granchester Meadows.

I guess late 2014 would be the very earliest we could hope for a new album?

Waters doesn´t need to perform in a genocidal state, you know...

That's right. Don't blame the people. I have often seen the people on the evening news, out demonstrating against their governments illegal building of settlements!
